Why la Sagrada Família (still) isn't finished
La Sagrada Família is undoubtedly one of the most famous buildings around. For 144 years, construction crews have been working to bring the Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudí's vision to life, creating the tallest church in the world. Earlier this year, news outlets around the globe announced the great basilica was complete. But that isn't true.
What is finished is the Tower of Jesus Christ, the central and tallest spire of the entire project. To bring you the latest updates first-hand, and the work yet to come, we travelled to Barcelona, with rare behind-the-scenes access, to capture what is one of the most impressive construction sites we have ever seen.
