The bullet train is one of Japan's most famous inventions - but if you think they're fast, you're in for a real treat. For the past decade Japan's been working on the latest evolution of high-speed train: maglev. Short for 'magnetic levitation', they can reach a top speed of up to 603 kilometres per hour, which is twice as fast as the current bullet trains. But change is never easy, regardless of how impressive the payoff is, and there have been plenty of problems along the way. Could maglev be the ticket to Japan's future success?
